Introducing Fukuoka Soy Sauce
We are a long-established storehouse and have been in business for over 125 years, located in the mountains of Iga City, Mie Prefecture.
We value the fusion with nature and do not rely on modern machines at all, but use the tools and warehouses as they were at the time of our founding. The brewery designated as a “registration tangible cultural property” is a historic brewery recognized by the Agency for Cultural Affairs, which is visited by dozens of tourists every year. In order to incorporate the ingenuity of the new era, not just the tradition, we are always taking on the challenge of taking the lead in the whole country.
We will continue to pursue delicious soy sauce so that it will be loved by local people and will continue to be purchased from all over the country and the world.

Fukuoka Soy Sauce's Commitment

We continue to use the same tools and breweries for more than 120 years because the very yeast that permeates everything in our brewery becomes the base of our soy sauce. At most soy sauce breweries, they use soybeans that are processed to remove their fat, but we have always used whole soybeans.
The Future of Fukuoka Soy Sauce

In addition to protecting the manufacturing method and factory at the time of our founding, we have manufactured the "Hasamezu Soy Sauce" series, a new product that has changed soy sauce as an initiative for a new era. As a "processed soy sauce product", it is a product that is even more familiar to cooking than conventional soy sauce. In addition, with a view to expanding sales channels overseas, we have acquired Halal certification and will deliver soy sauce from Fukuoka Soy Sauce stores to the world.

Showa 28/8 | Brewery half-destroyed by the landslide caused by typhoon No. 28 The violent thunder and terrible lightning shook Shimagahara village, struck the fields and houses, and our shop was struck by despair. Traces of that suffering are still left on the giraffe press. Shogatsudo Memorial We prayed that such a disaster would not occur in the future, and after that, a monument was erected on the Shogatsudo of Kanboji Temple as shown in the above picture. |
